It started with a favour
Back in 2012, we were the ones our mates called when their laptops crashed, their Wi-Fi died, or their dissertations vanished. What began as helping fellow university students with their tech quickly turned into something bigger.
Word spread. Local businesses started asking for help too. Before long, what started as a side hustle from a student bedroom became Nerdster, a fully-fledged IT services company supporting SMEs across the UK.
For over a decade, we grew alongside our clients, earning their trust by solving problems others overcomplicated.
When AI transformed the technology landscape, we didn't chase the hype. We asked a simple question: how do we make this actually useful for the businesses we serve?
In 2026, that question led us to build Nerdster Vault, a private, on-premises AI platform for firms that will never compromise on data security.
Today, we build AI for UK law and finance firms.
From fixing a flatmate's laptop to advising boardrooms on AI strategy. The journey has changed, but the mindset hasn't: keep it practical, keep it honest, and make technology work for people.
