AI agents · UK small business

Give the admin to something that never forgets.

An AI agent is a member of staff you configure once. It watches for the work arriving, does the routine part, and hands the judgement calls to you.

Where the week goes

Sound familiar?

None of this needs a bigger team. It needs the routine part done reliably by something that never gets pulled onto a job.

Quoting at nine at night

The day went on the work, so the paperwork waits until the evening. Again.

The call you missed at 11am

It was the one worth having. By the time you rang back they had already found someone else.

A certificate lapsed

You found out from the client rather than the diary, and now it is a problem instead of a reminder.

Three invoices past thirty days

Nobody has chased them, because chasing them is nobody's actual job.

Another app nobody opens

You bought the subscription. The team politely ignored it. The invoices still get chased by hand.

What it actually does

Not a chatbot you have to remember to open.

An agent runs on rules you set, inside the systems you already use, and it starts work without being asked. The jobs it takes are dull, repeated and easy to check. That is exactly where this pays.

Answers and books

Picks up the enquiry that arrived at 11am, answers it, and puts the job in your calendar with a transcript.

Drafts the quote

Turns your notes from the drive home into a quote, ready for you to check and send.

Watches the register

Warns you in September that a certificate expires in December, not the week after it lapsed.

Chases the money

Follows up on day thirty-one, politely, every time, without you having to feel awkward about it.

Where it pays back

What it looks like in your trade.

Same idea, different week. These are the jobs we are asked for most.

Electricians, plumbers & gas engineers

Missed calls become booked jobs. Quotes drafted from voice notes. Gas Safe, NICEIC and insurance renewals flagged before they lapse.

Builders & contractors

RFIs surfaced instead of buried in a thread. Variations logged when they happen. The subcontractor certificate register stays current on its own.

Accountancy practices

Records chased from clients on a schedule. Routine questions get a first draft for you to approve. Filing deadlines flagged while there is still time.

Care providers

The week's incidents, staffing gaps and expiring training in one Monday briefing, so CQC readiness is a habit rather than a fortnight of panic.

Law firms

First-pass matter intake handled. Client updates drafted. Files that have not moved in a fortnight surface before the client rings to ask.

Food & hospitality

Allergen records, temperature logs and supplier certificates kept current, with a warning before an inspection finds the gap.

One message, before you start

What you would see every Monday.

Not a dashboard you have to remember to check. One short read, waiting for you.

What came in

Enquiries over the weekend, what each one needs, and which are already booked.

What got done without you

Quotes drafted, follow-ups sent, records chased — with the detail if you want it.

What is waiting on you

The handful of things it will not do alone until you say yes.

What is about to expire

Certificates, insurances and renewals, in time to do something about them.

Already running

We would rather show you working software than a deck.

The compliance register on this page is not a concept. We built one for a property portfolio, and it has been running in production.

The problem

Gas, EPC, EICR and insurance dates spread across email, Dropbox and spreadsheets — so a lapse was found by accident, not by design.

What we built

A system that ingests statements and inboxes, reconciles income automatically, and tracks every compliance date in one register that flags what is due.

The result

Reconciliation that was manual now runs on its own, and nothing lapses unnoticed. UK-hosted, built around the email and storage already in use.

What it will not do without asking

You decide what it may do alone.

Nothing that spends money, signs anything or emails a client, until you have said in writing that it may.

It asks first

Version one of anything we build proposes and waits. You approve, it proceeds. We widen what it does alone only once you have watched it work.

Every message is untrusted

Emails, forms and uploaded documents are treated as data, never as instructions. If a stranger can send you text, they must not be able to operate your business.

Actions are logged, not chat

You get a record of what it did and what happened, so a problem shows up the same week rather than at year end.

How it works

Three steps, priced before you start.

2 weeks

£3,000 fixed audit

We read your tenant, then sit with your team, and come back with five written documents: what an agent should do, what it costs, what it saves and what it must not touch. Yours to keep either way.

4–6 wks

One agent, live

Built into the tools you already have and doing real work. Not a prototype, and not a demo.

30 days

We run it

One monthly bill on a rolling contract. No callout fees, no multi-year minimum, cancel any month.

If the audit says an agent is the wrong answer for your business, we will write that down instead. It is cheaper to hear that in week one.

FAQ

Good questions.

How is this different from ChatGPT or Copilot?

Those wait for you to ask. An agent watches for the work and starts it, in your systems, on your rules. You are not buying a better chat window — you are buying a job that gets done whether or not you remember to open an app.

I am a one-person business. Is this overkill?

Usually the opposite. When there is no admin team, the admin lands on the person who should be earning. Sole traders often see the fastest return, because the hours it gives back are billable hours.

What if it gets something wrong?

It asks before it acts, and every action is logged. You will see a mistake in the same week rather than at year end, and you can see exactly what it did and when.

Do I need to change systems?

No. We build into what you already run. If your world is email, a calendar and an accounts package, it works with those.

Who owns it?

You do. It runs on infrastructure you control, under your name, on open frameworks. No lock-in, and nothing stops working if you stop paying us.

Where do we start?

A two-week audit gives you five written documents. A four to six week pilot then proves one job on real work, quoted upfront.

Book the call. Leave with a plan, not a pitch.

Thirty minutes on the phone, no charge and no slides. We ask how your week actually runs, then send you a written list of the three jobs an agent should take, what each would cost and what each would save. You keep that whether or not you use us — and if an agent is the wrong answer for your business, we will say so.
